by Charles Xavier – I was creating out of my comfort zone. I improvised each morning after I had awakened from my unconscious dark shadow and I recorded endlessly. I was capturing the moment until I was able to release my darkness with loving light through this piano.

23K views on youTube: The premiere ad campaign was managed by the Orchard/Sony for the single titled "Covid Oddity 2021" from the Xman’s 7th release “PANDEMIC PIANO” and it's a tribute to Stanley’s Kubrick Space Odyssey.

The show “ELLA ACROSS AMERICA” is a real-time docudrama about a Composer/musician/post-production director who decided to leave California after his marriage ended, so he buys an RV, then sets out to explore 5,000 miles while busking & performing ACROSS AMERICA. Arriving in his hometown of New Bedford, Ma. Professor X and his dog Ella “Fitzgerald” Xavier are thriving, living mindfully and continuing to SHOOT the series in New England. The Xman is editing the 2nd show of the series with his production team at Happy Media Studios.

Abetted by a bunch of cool talent that’s played with everyone and is pleased to take the opportunity to step out for some spotlight time, this is the kind of set that moves and grooves in just they way you want an after hours set to do just that.

ZEITGEIST and THE ROCKER (UK)
I did not know that Professor X was a musician as well as running a school for mutants but it just goes to show you because Charles Xavier is releasing a compilation album highlighting twenty years worth of releases showcasing his work as a jazz musician and producer. It goes right back to the seventies for a couple of tracks from his early days with Satori and then meanders through the decades with songs touching on new age and ambient as well as his core jazz sound. There is an array of top jazz talent on display here with the likes of smooth jazz saxophonist Sam Riney, trumpeter Warren Gale, drummer Vinnie Colaiuta alongside countless others, so there is no doubting the musical ability on offer. There is also a taster for his next album in the shape of “The Dreamer” which shows he’s not ready to rest on his laurels just yet. It may be a bit idiosyncratic for mainstream listeners but jazz fans looking for some new and old sounds will enjoy. September 7, 2016
